Collect links

A season is shot by more people than you. A collect link is one durable URL you hand to the people shooting for you. They open it, pick the game, and upload. They never create, rename or delete anything; the shape of the season stays yours.

What a link points at

A link points at a collection, at either of two levels:

• A season ("AF1 2027"). Contributors pick the week, then the game.
• A week ("Week 3"). Contributors pick one of that week's games.

Make the collection first; that is what a link points at. Build a season on the Collect page takes a pasted league schedule and produces the weeks and the games in one go.

Making one

On the Collect page, New link: give it a label, choose the season or week, and optionally add a password and an expiry date. Each link carries its own budget, 50 GB and 5,000 files, and everything that arrives counts against your studio's storage exactly as your own uploads do.

The link itself is shown once, at creation. Encore stores only a hash of it, so a lost link is reissued rather than recovered, and a leaked database yields no working links.

What contributors see

The picker and the uploader, nothing else: the season's weeks and then the games, or one week's games. They choose one and upload into it. If a link points at a season with no games in it yet, the Collect page warns you that anyone opening it has nothing to upload into, so build the games before you send the link.

Review

Contributed frames wait in the review queue rather than publishing straight into the gallery: on a new link, and from any shooter you have not approved yet. Approving a batch does two things. It publishes those frames, and it marks that contributor as approved, so their next upload publishes on arrival. You review a shooter once, not every Friday.

A link marked Trusted publishes on arrival for everyone using it. That is for a link you hand to people you chose, not one that might get forwarded. Rejecting a batch deletes the frames; a rejected frame that merely hid would keep spending your storage.

Frames the screening pass flags, or has not yet screened, wait for a person regardless of trust. That fail-shut rule is what makes an open upload link something you can hand to a stranger.

Plans

Collect links need Professional or Studio Plus. That is not packaging: the pass that describes frames only runs on those plans, and the check on what arrives rides the same call. On a lower plan an open upload link would be entirely unscreened.
