Your work stays yours
Every photo you upload to Encore stays under your copyright. We license the asset only as much as we need to display it to your clients, generate variants, and ship it via the public gallery URLs you set up. Cancel your account → that license ends.
What you agree not to upload
CSAM, hate-targeted content, content you don't have the rights to. We cooperate fully with law enforcement where required. The audit chain is tamper-evident; we'll preserve it on lawful request.
Plan + storage
Storage tiers are listed at /app/settings/billing. Soft caps with grace — galleries don't go dark mid-share. We bill via Stripe; cancel any time via the customer portal.
Refunds: pro-rated for unused time on annual plans, none for monthly mid-cycle. Storage past your tier during a grace window is free; sustained overage is billed per-GB at the overage rate.
Uptime + availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Live status at /status. Scheduled maintenance is announced via email at least 48 hours ahead.
Liability
We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages — the typical SaaS contract language. If something is genuinely broken on our end and costs you money, we make it right (refunds, credits, or both, by hand). We're a working photographer's tool first.
Changes
Material changes to these terms get an email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't like the new terms, cancel before they kick in and we'll wind down your account cleanly.
